St Gwyndaf also came in early times from Brittany and founded the church at Llanwnda on the cliff near Strumble Head in Pembrokeshire. Seven ancient carved stones lie in and around the 8th century church. Five 7th-9th century inscribed stones can be found in the outer walls of the church, including a cross in the South wall of the chancel and a head with seraph wings. There is also a holy well.
