St Trillo lived as a hermit at Llandrillo yn Rhos at Colwyn Bay on the North Wales coast. The well chapel is built over his cell, is said to be the smallest in Wales; the water still flows under the altar. He had a church at Llandrillo near the Dee and another on Anglesey. He was buried on Bardsey.
