Saint Constantine (Cornwall) Royal

Reposed 6C? Remembered March 9

There is a church and holy well at Constantine Bay west of Padstow but there is considerable confusion about which of several Constantines the name refers to. One possibility is that it refers to a King who gave up his throne in order to be a hermit. He was said to be a convert of St Petroc.
