This saint, another royal, came from Wales and settled at Morwenstowe in north Cornwall. There is a holy well to St John near the church and a bit further on, 14 metres down the cliff face, is the now more or less inaccessible well of St Morwenna. This saint also has a famous holy well at Morvah near Madron and St Just in Penwith which has recently been restored.
