Saint Tudwal Bishop

St Tudwal was a Breton monk who went to Ireland for training, later becoming a hermit on St Tudwal’s island off the southern side of the Lleyn Peninsula. On his return to Brittany he founded a large monastery at Lan Pabu and was made bishop. He was one of the Seven Founder Saints of Brittany.
