St Conal founded a monastery on a tidal island in Gweebarra Bay, Co Donegal called Inishkeel. The tides come round the island and run into each other for a short while. As they ebb you too can be Moses and, bidding the waters part you can cross over on dry ground. But kw your tide or else you may be stranded. There are some beautiful cross slabs here, St Conal’s ‘Bed’, and a couple of holy wells if you can find them
