Saint Ethelwold Ascetic

St Ethelwold was a priest and monk of Ripon Abbey who went to live in St Cuthbert’s hermitage on the Inner Farne. When he died he was buried with St Cuthbert and, like him, was later enshrined in Durham Cathedral.
